England v ROTW
2 02 2009As was expected by all, the Rest of the World team romped home in the annual cricket derby despite the some favourable umpiring. Extras topped the scoring charts for the English in a sad state affairs, while the ROTW boys recovered nicely after pace spear head JP Duminy Quail was called for an illegal action. His 22 ball opening over was dripping with controversy but the ROTW kept their heads up and proceeded to drive home the advantage.
A strong performance from the Engine, who let his numbers do the talking (25 runs, 1 wicket and 2 catches) ensured that the English will have to wait another year to avenge themselves. This was all despite their resplendant blue kit making even the most pale team member look dapper.
